Hello! Originally from Long Island, NY, I moved to Pennsylvania in the summer of 2013 to open the doors of my own company, StudioB Yoga Center. As the sole proprietor of this successful yoga studio for over six years and holding a Master’s Degree in Design Management from Pratt University, I understand the nuances of small business and thrive as a true “people person”. With an undergraduate degree in fine art & interior design, I am an artist by trade and worked for 10 long years amongst the hustle-and-bustle of Manhattan’s competitive design and furniture manufacturing markets. Aside from academic achievement, I have dedicated the past decade to serving others by training as a yoga instructor and now hold E-RYT-500 certification; the highest issued credential through Yoga Alliance, the largest non-profit association representing the yoga community worldwide. I have traveled far and wide internationally, currently to 25+ countries in order to deepen understanding of other cultures and open my heart to what this beautiful world has to offer! Puerto Rico has stolen my heart, and I am over-the-moon excited about sharing this magical place and all it has to offer with retreat students! Espero verte pronto!
We live and breathe yoga!

Hi! I’m Kristina and I fell in love with yoga on my 18th Birthday when my Mom and I celebrated with a “girl’s day” which included a pedicure, a massage, and a yoga class (It was a perfect day)! After that yoga class, we signed up to take weekly classes and I was hooked. I even bought a yoga video and practiced every day. I did fall away from yoga for a brief time while I was in college earning my Bachelor Degree in Communications with a minor in both Business Marketing and Management. This was the time I needed yoga the most, but was so caught up with studying and working, that I let it slip away. I found yoga again after graduating and being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and hashimottos disease. I knew I had to get myself back in shape and eat better to feel healthy and get my health back in gear. I found myself wanting to learn and practice more, which led me to attend a yoga retreat in Culebra, Puerto Rico, which is when I fell in love with Puerto Rico. During this retreat, I discovered so much about myself and what I needed in my life. Once arriving back home, I applied to a yoga teacher training and became a RYT-200 (200 hour certified yoga teacher). I started teaching immediately and have been ever since, plus my day job in the office, and I couldn’t be happier! I recently studied Yin Yoga, which allowed me to dive deeper into my “stories” and let them go. I discovered myself through yoga and have grown more than I could have ever imagined. I am a smiley, loving, caring, compassionate, bubbly person today because of yoga and I am so grateful. I look forward to showing you the power of yoga and providing the space for you to discover yourself.
